I was born in Sicily to the infamous Sergio Pacciolli, mafia leader, and Gina Sorrentini, his 1st wife. I was given the name Caprice Sorrentini Pacciolli which was soon shortened to Cici. Soon Sergio and Gina divorced before I was even 1-year-old. I grew up with my mother and rarely saw my father. Sergio got into a lot of trouble with some people and they came after him. He left town where he met a woman named Sofia Lorenzo. They were soon wed and had 2 children, Concetta Lorenzo Pacciolli, and Kinky Lorenzo Pacciolli. Sergio, his wife, and two children moved back to Sicily when the situation involving the mafia was resolved but things were just starting to get bad. I don't know much about my father's business but I do know that you cannot screw around or you'll get yourself killed. These people have no feelings or emotions, it's just business. Well, of course, my father couldn't keep himself out of trouble. A man named Gustavo needed Sergio to "knock off" someone. When he wouldn't do it, Gustavo threatened to come after his family. Me, being the first child, was the one Gustavo wanted. In my attempted murder, he killed my mother, Gina, on accident instead of me. Sergio always said that the mafia was the hardest thing to get out of. With his family in danger, he sent me, Concetta, and Kinky to America. I was only 3 when this all happened, my sisters 2. We never heard from Sergio or Sofia again.

My sisters and I all had to go our seperate ways. We were each adopted by different families. I moved to North Carolina (was given the name Emily), Kinky to Connecticut (was given the name Sarah), and Concetta to Virginia (was given the name Danielle). Somehow, after 10 years, we all ended up in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. We had never talked about our past with our new families so our memories of each other were very vague but we knew from the moment that we saw each other that something was missing from our pasts. After months of research (and locating and talking to Sofia Lorenzo *Sergio had been murdered*), we discovered things about ourselves that we never knew before.
